Twisted Tea Savory Glaze x Twisted Tailgate Photo Contest
Twisted Tea is a smooth and refreshing hard iced tea that is made with real brewed tea — and makes the perfect foundation for a savory glaze.
Summer is in full swing and I'm constantly in search of how to take my entertaining game to the next level: whether I'm having friends over for an outdoor summer party, planning a tailgate or going to my local NASCAR race track for a tailgate. Twisted Tea actually stopped by Kansas City Speedway a few weeks ago with their epic Twisted RV tailgate. You can read more about the RV and where it’s stopping this summer here: http://www.twistedtea.com/race-day
For me an ice cold Twisted Tea, the No. 1 hard iced tea beverage in the U.S., is typically in hand at any of these occasions. However Twisted Tea can be used for more than just a refreshing drink.
Yes, it's perfect for day drinking with an ABV of 5% and is a great alternative to light beer. Taking it to the kitchen and incorporating it into a savory glaze shows off how versatile this beverage can be!
I'm sharing a few of my entertaining tips (with a little inspiration from Twisted Tea) below. Whether you are taking a few sips or including it in a recipe, Twisted Tea is here to help you take your next Summer shindig to new heights.
Pro Tip #1 — Chill your Twisted Tea
Grab a mason jar (or five), fill with ice and fill to the brim with Twisted Tea. If you are on the go, don't forget your cooler. Twisted Tea is best served chilled; that first cold sip will leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed.
Pro Tip #2 — Whip up your Twisted Tea Savory Glaze
What's more versatile than a glaze? You can literally put it on anything! My savory Twisted Tea glaze can be made and packed up for your tailgate in less than 30 minutes. It works well as a dip, sauce, dressing and even as a marinade.
Pro Tip #3 — Get Cookin'
Light up your grill and get cookin'! My savory Twisted Tea glaze was incorporated into two party foods: Twisted Tea glazed chicken wings and a feta-stuffed burger sauced with the Twisted Tea glaze.
Feeling creative or adventurous? I encourage you to take this Twisted Tea glaze to new territories.
Pro Tip #4 — Snap a Photo
Twisted Tea wants YOU to share how you tailgate like a pro by submitting photos to its Tailgating Pro Tips photo contest. Twisted Tea will choose a winner at the end of the summer who will have the opportunity to host their own Twisted Tailgate with the Twisted Tea RV and their friends. Entry is simple:
- Take a photo of your Tailgate with Twisted Tea and post it to Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #TwistedTailgate and tag @TwistedTea.
