Broadway Deli Brings New Options to the Crossroads in Kansas City
In May the Crossroads added a new face to the food scene, Broadway Deli located at 2101 Broadway Blvd. There are a lot of options when dining out in Kansas City, however there was something missing. This new addition lets Kansas Citians enjoy an authentic Jewish delicatessen, or as their website says “a mostly Jewish deli for a mostly not Jewish city.”
Broadway Deli is a sandwich shop, but offers much more than sandwiches including Breakfast, classic soups, incredible desserts and daily pastry specials. Breakfast is served 7 - 10:30 a.m. Monday - Friday and 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday with classics such as bagels and lox, omelettes, corned beef hash and french toast using Challah bread; but they also offer unique dishes such as the Len Dawson Scramble.
However, if a sandwich is what you are after Broadway Deli is the place to be. With an assortment of top-shelf deli staples like the reuben, pastrami, beef brisket and tuna salad you will be glad you came. And staying in-line with the deli tradition, Broadway Deli has dedicated several sandwiches to local heros like the Tom Watson, the George Brett and the Tim Grunhard — among others.
